Nina Naylor

Nina is a strategic thinker who excels at translating high-level vision and customer insights into innovative digital products. She has significant experience working at leading global design and consulting agencies including McKinsey & Company, Frog Design and Razorfish, where she led research, design strategy, interaction and visual design and product innovation for some of the world’s largest brands. Her diverse portfolio showcases award-winning projects of significant scale and complexity with expertise in creating digital interfaces for a number of fortune 500 clients within a range of industries including Healthcare, Financial, Retail, Entertainment, Agriculture and IT. Nina is a seasoned practitioner and design leader, and has directed a number of high profile engagements for clients such as Johnson & Johnson, Goldman Sachs, Merck, Pfizer, Citibank, State of Idaho, Seagate, Centers for Disease Control (CDC), Yahoo as well as a range of startups and nonprofit organizations. She has a particular passion for healthcare projects and holds a patent for her work in the medical devices and diagnostics industry.

Most recently, she has focused her efforts on growing the global design practice at Freeport Metrics. Seeing a unique opportunity to bring design thinking to clients and colleagues, she has been responsible for recruiting and leading a team of designers, and extending the company’s core capabilities to include strategic design. Working with multidisciplinary teams, she’s directed a range of projects, combining emerging technologies, strategy and design to envision and launch new products in this rapidly evolving digital landscape.

Nina graduated from the University of London, UK with a BA Hons in fine arts and subsequently worked as a professor for the University of Plymouth, UK. The creations she is most proud of are her three children, Ronan, Mimi & Nico, all of whom seem to have an unlimited supply of energy and enthusiasm that propels them through life!
